Battle of Manchester!

シルバーウィークを使っての旅行中、わざわざ中継してくれるお店を探して見に行った甲斐がありました（泣）

Tevezがブチブチ愚痴をこぼしてManchesterの青い方に行ったことから始まった遺恨試合。
Adebayorが古巣のArsenalとの試合で敵に向かってのゴール・セレブレーションやら、元同僚のVan Persieの顔を踏みつけたり、いろいろやらかして出場停止。
Santa CruzとRobinhoは怪我。
Tevezも怪我で出場が危ぶまれていて、Bellamyの他にFWいないんじゃないの？状態のMan City。
でも、そうとうUnitedに一泡吹かせたかったのか、Tevezが怪我を押して出場。
てか、出てくんなよ・・・
当然のことながら大ブーイング。
本人は拍手で迎えられると思っていたんじゃないかなぁ。そりゃームリってもんだ。


そして始まった「The Battle of Manchester」と題された試合。
UnitedはRooneyとBerbatovの2トップ。
そうだよ、やっぱり2トップがいいよ。
CityはTevezががんばって出場、BellamyがTevezの相棒。
得点しては追いつかれ、得点しては追いつかれ、結局３度も追いつかれる展開に。
2点目も3点目もポカミスからなので、防げたはずだけど、結果的には試合をエキサイティングにしてくれた。

・・・なーんて、平常心では言えません！
見てるこっちはもうハラハラドキドキ。
ただ、そんな試合展開だったからこその、Owenのゴールで勝ち越したときの喜びは何倍にもなったんですけどね。


それにしてもGiggsからOwenへのパスが素晴らしかった。
周りがよく見えていたプレーでしたね。
そしてOwenも上手にフリーになってGiggsからのボールを受けたものです。
ゴールへの嗅覚は人一倍素晴らしいOwenなので、Giggsからボールが渡った時、「勝った！」と思いました。
そしてその一瞬の期待を現実のものにしてくれました！


こんなに熱くなったダービーは初めてでした。
旅先でのとてもいい思い出が出来ました。

Darren Fletcher. Two goals and an all-round superb performance. Closely followed by Ryan Giggs on his second half showing.

Moment of the match

Michael Owen's last-gasp winner will be talked about for some time. If there were any fans still doubting the signing of the former Liverpool man, they may well have changed their minds now.

Pass of the match

Giggs used all his experience in the heat of the battle to stay composed to find Owen with a superb ball in the sixth minute of injury time when most others would have hooked the ball back into the box.

Save of the match

Shay Given's second stop from a Dimitar Berbatov header was impressive although the Bulgarian should have scored.

Talking point

Where do you start? So many talking points on the pitch, Michael Owen's winner the obvious one to start with but the post-match chat will be dominated by the six minutes of added time that allowed Owen to score.

Craig Bellamy's first goal, a stunning long-range effort from the Welshman from 25 yards out into the top corner.
