vs Sunderland (A・2009/04/11)

CL 2nd Legに向けて、弾みとなるような試合にしなくてはいけない試合。
12月のOTでの試合はあまりのアウェイ仕様＝ドン引きで、こっちもドン引きしたくらい。
2戦目は向こうのホームのStadium of Lightなのでドン引きではこないでしょう。
守備に不安のある今のUnitedなので、その方がいいかもしれないけど・・・アワワ。

相変わらず調子が上向くことなく、DFは頼りなく、弾みとはならない試合でした。
唯一の明るい材料は、途中出場のMachedaくんがまたやってくれたこと！
Carrickのシュートが足に当たって角度が変わってのゴールだったけど、その場に立っていたことだって立派なことです。
ただいまUnitedのラッキーボーイ。
このままシーズン終わるまでラッキーボーイでいてくれないかなー。

Man of the Match: Federico Macheda receives the nod after another match-winning influence from the bench to grab the headlines. Wayne Rooney only narrowly pipped at the post.

Save of the Match: Phil Bardsley produced an excellent double sliding block to deny Carlos Tevez two strikes at goal, leaving the Sunderland defender grounded with cramp.

Goal of the Match: Has to be that man Macheda, again. Not a contender for goal of the season after deflecting a Michael Carrick shot, but a fairytale for the young Italian.
