vs Arsenal (A・08/11/08)

先週のArsenal戦はArsenalファンにまみれてパブ観戦して、目の前で「２−０〜、to the Arsenal」とかやられてしまって、その後妙に慰め入った雰囲気が漂っていたので、すでに忘れたい思い出・・・。
しかし、ものすごくは悪かったわけではなかったんだけど、一人ひとりが全体的にちょっとづつ悪くて、気合十分のArsenalにやられてしまったって感じがした。
決定的なチャンスは何度もあったんだけどね。
決定力不足って言葉はあまり好きではないので、「今日はUnitedの日じゃなかった」ということにします。

Samir Nasri fired a decisive brace, taking the second especially well to hand the Gunners a huge success.

Moment of the match:
Numerous penalty claims aside, when the fourth official held up the board to show six minutes of added time, the tensest of finishes ensued, as Arsenal held on after their previous failure against Tottenham.

Goal of the game:
Rafael da Silva's brilliant chest and finish was awesome, but Nasri's second pips the youngster after he capped a slick 15-pass move.

Save of the match:
Manuel Almunia made a key low stop down to his right to deny Park Ji-Sung in the first period.

Talking point:
Does this result prove Arsenal can lift silverware this season?
